The PIF has launched Tawrid Co. for Financing Solutions, a digital platform offering supply-chain financing products aimed at increasing private-sector participation and strengthening local supply chains. Tawrid brings buyers, suppliers, and funders together on a single digital platform, providing solutions such as early settlement against approved invoices.

Commercial Registrations Surpass 1.9 Million

Saudi Arabia’s total number of commercial registrations has surpassed 1.9 million, reflecting continued growth in business activity across the Kingdom and in sectors aligned with Vision 2030. According to the Ministry of Commerce, the total includes 1.3 million registrations for establishments, 599,000 for limited liability companies, and 5,000 for joint-stock companies. AI technologies recorded the fastest growth among promising sectors, with commercial registrations increasing 31% to 24,552. Logistics registrations grew 25% to more than 32,100.

Saudi Arabia Dominates Middle East Hotel Expansion with 50% of Development Pipeline

Saudi Arabia is leading hotel expansion across the Middle East, with around 110,000 rooms under development, accounting for roughly half of the region’s total hotel pipeline as the Kingdom accelerates investment in tourism destinations and hospitality infrastructure. According to an analysis by global hospitality consultancy HVS, the pipeline spans Riyadh, Makkah, Madinah, Diriyah, Neom, the Red Sea, and Amaala.

Saudi Arabia Railways Signs Deals To Expand Freight Capacity And Upgrade Rail Systems

Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) has signed a series of agreements with international companies to expand freight capacity and enhance fleet reliability. The agreements include a €22 million ($26 million) five-year contract with French rail company Alstom to support SAR’s North Freight fleet. SAR also signed contracts with US locomotive manufacturer Progress Rail and US railcar manufacturer Greenbrier to supply new locomotives and freight cars, supporting the expansion of phosphate transportation.

PIF’s ROSHN And TMG Saudi Sign Preliminary Deal For 55,000-Home Riyadh Project

Talaat Moustafa Group’s Saudi subsidiary, TMG Saudi, has signed a preliminary agreement with PIF-owned ROSHN Group to establish a joint company to explore a large mixed-use development in Riyadh. Planned for a prime location in Riyadh, the project is expected to include more than 55,000 residential units, along with retail, commercial, hospitality, entertainment, healthcare, and education facilities, as well as parks and public spaces.

BEC Arabia Secures $207 Million MEP Contract For Saudi Hospital Project

Saudi-based Almoosa Health Company has awarded a SAR 781.7 million ($207 million) contract to BEC Arabia for mechanical and electrical works at the Almoosa Specialist Hospital project in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. The contract covers the execution of mechanical and electrical works in line with approved engineering designs and technical specifications.
